Hello!

I’m a consultant, speaker, and author working with individuals, organizations, and communities during moments of transition, growth, and meaningful change.

My work is grounded in a deep understanding of human behavior, wellness, leadership, education, and culture—and in how people make sense of their experiences. I blend psychology, education, creativity, and lived insight to create conversations that are thoughtful, engaging, and transformative.

I’ve spent years working across educational, healthcare, community, and human-development settings, which allows me to bring a perspective that is both grounded and expansive. Whether I’m speaking, consulting, or writing, my aim is to invite clarity, cultivate understanding, and support forward-moving, practical change.

This space offers an overview of my work and the ways we can collaborate—through speaking engagements, consulting projects, workshops, and other professional partnerships.

If this work resonates, I invite you to reach out and begin the conversation.

About Clara

Clara Magallanes is a bilingual and bicultural consultant, speaker, and author with a multidisciplinary background spanning education, healthcare, human development, and well-being.

She holds graduate degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Educational Administration and brings over twenty-five years of professional experience working across schools, universities, healthcare-related settings, and community organizations. Her work has included leadership, education, program development, and initiatives focused on emotional intelligence, culture, resilience, socio-emotional learning, family engagement, and developmentally informed, trauma-aware approaches to human growth and systems change.

Clara is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and her clinical training informs the depth, discernment, and integrity of her speaking, consulting, and writing. Her approach is holistic, culturally informed, and grounded in both research and lived experience. She is also a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and values the role of joy, humor, and human connection in sustaining well-being.

In addition, Clara trained and practiced as a medical doctor in Mexico and holds advanced academic training in occupational health, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This background gives her a strong foundation in understanding how biological, emotional, cultural, and environmental factors intersect in human functioning.

As a speaker and keynote presenter, Clara is known for making complex topics accessible and deeply human. She brings clarity, warmth, and intellectual depth to conversations on well-being, culture and belonging, emotional intelligence, transition and resilience, education and leadership, creativity, and personal growth.

As an author and creator, Clara develops books and educational materials used by families, educators, and professionals to support reflection, connection, and meaningful dialogue. She has a unique ability to meet audiences of all ages where they are, speaking in ways that resonate with their developmental stage, needs, and lived realities.

At the heart of Clara’s work is a simple belief: sustainable change—whether personal or systemic—begins with understanding, awareness, and connection.
